Produce

The district produces crops like maize, wheat, paddy (rice), pulses, and some oilseeds, which are the main source of income for farmers. In terms of industry, Dahod is known for its railway workshop (where train engines and parts are manufactured and repaired), along with small-scale units producing food products, bricks, and basic goods. The area also produces traditional handicrafts such as bamboo items, beadwork, and wooden artifacts made by tribal communities. Overall, Dahod’s production is a mix of farming, local crafts, and light industrial work.
